gaiwan in clear

This gaiwan has three pieces- the tea bowl, intended to steep loose tea in, the saucer, intended for straining the tea, and the saucer, which is intended for holding the tea pot and catching any drips. Gaiwans are a part of the Gongfu Cha Chinese tea practice, and I have had the pleasure of making them in collaboration with a local tea house in Austin, TX.

Handmade with beige stoneware. Finish: clear glossy glaze all over

The items are dishwasher & microwave safe.
